There's people I know from home who have been here longer than we have and they both said something similar. Which means more of what happened at the beach.

Not that I'm implying there should be more between us! And I'm not saying that I disliked it or anything - I did enjoy it - I just don't want you to think that there's any obligation.
[Obviously, it's noteworthy. Rahu is used to coming through communications for information that might be meaningful. Beyond that, however, without more pieces of information, she can't infer more than that something must have changed.]
Six months is the longest so far, from someone who hasn't started behaving like a local. It'd be impossible to last that long without walking the walk, even if you're swimming upstream the whole time.
[When Hilda's message starts coming through in a way that reads to her as flustered, Rahu feels a quick rush of unease, once more out of her element. She seemed so bold before...but unless this is a front, then of course she should consider that this was all disarming for the other woman, too.]
Take it easy. We were both under the influence of something we didn't expect. And for me, it's been a while. I don't have any expectations either way.
That's about the same amount of time I've heard from those I've spoken to as well. Six months here feels impossible to think about.

But for what it's worth I enjoyed it. ...And I wouldn't mind spending more time with you in general laced meat aside.
A little more time for the acquaintance and a different location. We got lucky not to be seen by anyone passing by the area.

Since we're basically neighbors, no doubt we'll see more of each other. I'm not sure. To be honest, I've always taken things one day at a time. Then again, I've never had to play a game that requires me to do the things they're asking us to do. And if I'm being honest...there's a war going on at home. It would be easy to say that I'd rather stay here but I have mixed feelings about it.
